The Genesis of Permissionless Academy: 21st Century Skills to Financial Independence
We are finally hiring the core team that will carry the Permissionless Academy vision forward.
The realization that quietly rewired my understanding of education is now moving from the page to the pavement.
Since founding Schoolze in 2016, I have watched the education system remain stuck in a time warp. We built the tools for the future—focused on 21st-century skills—but the system lacked the incentives to adopt them.
Last month, I shared the seed of a new concept: Permissionless Academy. The goal is simple yet radical—make young adults financially free by age 21 through digital leverage.
Today marks the official transition. We are hiring the core team that will carry this vision forward. We aren't just building another EdTech product; we are building a movement that renders the old gatekeepers redundant.
The Operational Blueprint
Permissionless Academy will be a cohort-based experience. We are starting small and focused:
The Cadence: 6-week intensive cohorts.
The Goal: 30 students per cohort, making their first dollar by Week 3.
The Output: Moving students from $500 to $1,000 in monthly recurring income by building online systems around their personal brands.
Why This Matters Now
Traditional leverage (jobs/degrees) requires permission. You need a company to hire you or a bank to loan to you. Permissionless leverage—like creating content or building software—requires only your initiative.
By proving this model works, we create Strategic Collateral. Once a student doesn't need a degree to survive, the SAT loses its grip. When the SAT is gone, the 10-year vacuum in K-12 can finally be filled with the curiosity-led, skill-based learning we’ve wanted all along.
